Oneday I Met You

오이뮤는 사람, 물건, 경험 등 모든 것들을 접했던 순간을 소중하게 여기는 마음을 갖고 있습니다.
단순 소비재만을 생산하는 것이 아닌, 과거와 현재의 가치를 잇는 디자인 활동을 하고 있는 브랜드입니다.
프로젝트를 통해 사양화 되어 가는 2차 산업들을 다시 부활시키는 계기를 만들 것이며,
디자인 활동이 고부가가치를 창출한다는 것을 증명하고자 합니다.

OIMU always appreciate moments we've touched people, things, experience and so on.
We aim for sustainable design and take the role of a bridge that connects the value of
the past being forgotten with the present.
The OIMU projects will pave the way for reviving the declining secondary industries
and prove that the design activities create high-added value.

Project 1. Match project

The first project of OIMU, Match project.
We are cooperationg with UN-factory that manufactured UN-octagonal matches in Korea between 1950's and 2010's.
It put a new design on a fading article extending its life and value and changed the previous matches to a "well-designed practical daily item" creating a sophisticated brand image.
It is nostalgic to the older generation and presents unfamiliar charm of the matches to the younger generation.




Project 2. Air project

The second project of OIMU, Air project.
We work with the traditional incense factory that have been maintaining a natural incense for a long time in Korea.
The incense culture that has been put into various forms in ceremony and life has suffered cultural loss in foreign affairs such as the Japanese colonial period and the 6.25 war.
In the end, today, incense has fallen into decay used in temples and memorial services,
but in the past there was a culture called 'the incense ceremony', which was a way of enjoying the 'incense society' or incense.
Through the Air Project, We announce the traditional culture of the incense and create beautiful scenery where good fragrance is shared.
